Yee ha! Finally there’s some visible change for WordPress!

I just finished installing a new WordPress 3.0 site and I spotted that at last they have changed their default theme that comes with a fresh install. Now the one you get is called  Twenty Ten. Why that name? The WordPress team built it specifically as “the 2010 default theme for WordPress.” Nice touch.

Talking about WordPress themes, here’s a link to the all-singing all-dancing Socrates premium WordPress theme I purchased today so it can take my niche blogging efforts to the next level.

How StewartShaw.net looks on an iPad

Whaddaya think of this pic? (click it to enlarge). Pretty cool huh? Especially when I tell you I haven’t yet got an Apple iPad!

You can try the same thing yourself at ipadpeek.com (free) where all you have to do is type your URL into the iPad’s address bar. You can even switch to Portrait mode. This clever little tool developed by Pavol Rusnak was featured in a Mashable story back on April 5.

What’s the iPad going to do for internet marketers? Let me simply suggest it is going to increase the total amount of time spent online. Maybe not significantly in the scheme of things, but an increase nevertheless.

Apple’s iPhone now commands a dominant share of the smartphone mobile internet market. That’s surely not good news for any future competitor of the iPad if they ever hope to capitalize on the potential goldmine in this new category Apple’s new gadget has created.

Anyways, using the above iPad simulator prompted me to reduce my site’s page width so it would all be visible in Landscape Mode on the iPad. I’m too lazy to go lookup iPad specs

I’m going to use this site to share with you things I’m having success with in Internet Marketing. Yes most of the links are affiliate links – thanks for clicking them! Like the ad opposite for a brand new search engine called NowRelevant.com where at the moment you can run PPC ads for pennies. Even video PPC ads that don’t cost you if people watch the video! You can’t do that on Google.
